3. Press Test: Press hard with your finger. Premium foam has elasticity and good rebound; inferior foam leaves a dent or cracks instantly.
4. Adhesion Test: Try to peel the foam off the substrate. Premium foam will show "Cohesive Failure" (the foam itself tears, but the root remains stuck to the wall); inferior foam shows "Adhesive Failure" (it peels off entirely, as if it never stuck).
5. Burn Test: Ignite a small slice. B2 foam self-extinguishes upon removal of fire with minimal smoke; B3 or inferior foam continues to burn, accompanied by heavy black smoke and burning droplets.
